Bail Bond FAQs

Regulated Bail Bond Price

The price charged for all bail bonds in Connecticut is regulated by The State of Connecticut Insurance Department. Our Agency do not create the percentages charged nor the bail bond amounts which are set by the various detention facilities.

Release Conditions

Our agency does not set any release conditions other than to appear in court when required to do so. However, if there is a payment plan balance, our condition of bond is that such sum be paid according to the writen agreement.

Cosigner Qualifications

Preferably, cosigners are employed. They will also be residents of Connecticut, have proof of residence and ties to the local area. In short, we ask for official identification / drivers license, proof of employment and proof of residence from our cosigners.

How Long it Takes

The amount of time it takes for a person to be released on bond from start to finish depends on the type of institution. For example, a bail bond at a county jail usually takes longer than one at the police department.

Payment Plans

Financing / payment plans are only offered to qualified applicants. Eligibility is mainly determined by the ability of the borrower to pay off the remaining debt. Employment and overall financial stability are key approval factors.
